Choosing the correct carrier is most important when buying a phone!

If you are using a MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) such as Cricket, Metro PCS, Straight Talk, Ting, etc. Please double check to make sure your MVNO is associated with the correct carrier!

AT&T devices operate on the GSM network and will require a SIM card to function.  Please check with your MVNO to see if it is compatible with AT&T network.

Like AT&T, T-Mobile phones run on the GSM network and require a SIM card. Please check with your MVNO to see if it is compatible with T-Mobile network.

Verizon phones run on the CDMA network.  Some LTE devices such as newer iPhones may also support GSM network voice and data services, but data may be limited to 2G or 3G networks.

Unlocked phones are compatible with GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile, as well as with global services that run on GSM SIM cards. MVNOs such as H20, Straight Talk and others offer this type of service, as well as select prepaid carriers.

Unlocked cell phones may not work fully with CDMA carriers like Sprint, Verizon, Boost or Virgin or other providers that use CDMA technology.
